Inter-Service Communication

In this section, you will have an understanding of how user data is securely exchanged between different service providers
HyperID offers a robust solution for Inter-Service Communication, making it effortless to integrate an unlimited number of services. With encrypted transmission and storage of data, only the intended recipient can access it with the user's permission. The user retains total control over their data, granting permissions to services and revoking access.
Encryption keys are securely managed to ensure maximum data protection. The keys used for encryption are not stored directly anywhere. Instead, the necessary information for the key reconstruction is kept separate from the encrypted data. This approach minimizes the risk of unauthorized access to sensitive information. Even if an attacker gains access to the encrypted data, they would still require the encryption key.
By empowering users with control over their personal data and privacy, HyperID ensures compliance and security for all services and businesses involved. The need for individual data storage and synchronization among services is eliminated, ensuring consistency across the board.
HyperID prioritizes data integrity through encryption, providing an additional layer of security that prevents tampering and guarantees the accuracy of the information
Overall, HyperID provides technological mechanisms for the secure exchange of user information between Service Providers (SPs) while maintaining its privacy and security:
  • A Service Provider stores encrypted user data in a secure repository specifically for access by another specific Service Provider(s).
  • HyperID does not have access to the encryption keys and cannot decrypt the stored user data.
  • The user has full control over their data and can revoke the Service Provider's access at any time.
